Champions at King Park: The Club Blazers Touch Team Wins the Savills Touch Rugby Tournament

There is a particular kind of pride that comes from seeing your crest carried onto a field — and a finer one still when it leaves the field as a winner. On a humid afternoon at King Park in Hong Kong, the Club Blazers touch team did exactly that, lifting the trophy at the Savills Touch rugby tournament with a hard-fought 3–1 victory in the final. The Savills Touch rugby tournament is a fixture of the Hong Kong corporate sporting calendar — a yearly contest that draws the territory's most competitive company sides, and a draw widely regarded as one of the heaviest corporate fields in the city. To reach the final is an achievement; to win it is another thing entirely. The Club Blazers touch team did both, and they did it the right way: patient in defence, ruthless when it counted, and ultimately deserving of the 3–1 scoreline that confirmed the win.
